Founded in 1988, Knott Hall Notre Dame has been known for all things fellowship on campus. From our weekly in house food sales to our many signature dorm events, Knott Hall is the place to be on campus at Notre Dame.

Knott is known for its many service, spiritual, and social events throughout the year. Looking for something unique to Knott? Our resident run food sales kitchen serves up home-cooked meals 6 days a week. 

Our Culture

We asked the class of 2021 to describe Knott In three words. What came up most? Friendly, Welcoming, and Fun! Knott culture is all about building community and brotherhood. Once a jugg, always a jugg, and here fellowship abounds. ​

​Founded on historic mod quad originally as a girl's dorm in 1988, Knott Hall has been ​keeping things fun and fresh as a men's dorm since 1997.​

Knott Hall is committed to service in our community and the fostering of great scholars, athletes and citizens. Joining Knott not only means joining a brotherhood of friends, but also a fraternity of leadership and excellence.​
